All members must take responsibility in ensuring they are up to date with the rules, understand and adhere to them.

All members must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all members regardless of age, gender, race, cultural background, religious beliefs or sexual identity.

While most events and meetups are free to attend, there may be occasions where a small fee is asked. In those cases where members decide to attend, members must promptly pay any fees for training or events.

While attending events at any organisation or venue, comply with the rules of that organisation or venue, show respect for the organisation or venue and it’s representative, and behave in a manner that would not damage the reputation of the group.

Members who disregard this code of conduct may be put on probation, barred from attending some or all meetings, and/or may be stripped of membership from the Dublin Emerging Museum Professionals.

Members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have of the Dublin Emerging Museum Professionals with any Board Member.
